I think the rod was $30 + fork oil. Just did the swap over myself was pretty easy.

You can get a travel reducing rod that will drop them 40mm. And they will be solid as! Check out my green Pierat.

hi alted !!yes i can get it machined, but i don't know about the cost difference over there and here in india, i'm assuming its cheaper. also getting 4140 and 4130 here is bloody damn tough, probably its known by a different name here. as wherever i've asked for 4130 , all i got were blank stares !

well yeah, ever since i seen the bass i knew that these were the bikes i wanted to ride. going big is the name of the game bruva. this has been in the pipe awhile now. so awesome to have it in the flesh from only seeing it on paper.
